Account Deletion

This page explains how users of the Sprrintly app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data, and how such data is handled following a deletion request. This policy is consistent with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
How to Request Account Deletion
Account deletion can be requested directly within the Sprrintly app. Follow the steps below:
- Open the Sprrintly app and log in to your account
- On the bottom navigation bar, tap the Organise screen
- Navigate to the Profile screen
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
- Tap More
- Select Delete Account
- Authenticate when prompted — enter your password if required
- Tap Delete to confirm
Once the request is confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion. You will receive a confirmation notification upon completion.
Scope of Data Deletion
Upon successful processing of an account deletion request, Sprrintly will permanently delete or anonymize the following data associated with your account:
- Personal identifiers — including your name and email address
- User-generated content — including tasks, notes, weekly plans, and activity data
- Account preferences and application settings
Where full deletion is not immediately possible (for example, due to backup retention cycles), data will be anonymized within the same timeframe so that it can no longer be linked to you.
Data Retention and Exceptions
Certain data may be retained after an account deletion request under the following circumstances. All retained data is stored only for as long as strictly necessary.

Unless a longer period is required by law, retained data will generally not be held beyond 30 days from the date of the deletion request. Retained data is limited in scope and will not be used for any other purpose.
Third-Party Authentication
Sprrintly uses third-party authentication providers, including Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication).
Deleting your Sprrintly account will remove your data from Sprrintly's systems. However, authentication credentials and account access managed by these third-party providers are governed by their own privacy policies and remain under their control. To fully revoke access, you may manage connected apps via your Google or Apple account settings.

We respond to account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable data protection requirements, including the Australian Privacy Act, GDPR, and CCPA.
